As you may have noticed, this post is a little different from my usual. That’s because it features some of my favorite people, instead of myself! I had the privilege of partnering with Value Village, to set up a fun DIY Ugly Sweater station at my friends’ annual Friendschristgiving celebration (we do our Friendsgiving after Thanksgiving, so we include Christmas in there too)! A quick run down of a usual Friendschristgiving for us includes: a potluck dinner, a 22oz craft beer white elephant exchange, and of course, ugly sweaters!

I am sure I have made it more than clear how much I love thrifting, ugly sweaters, and all things cozy, so I was so thrilled to bring all these things to my friends this year. A few days before our party, my husband and I went up to our local Value Village to pick out some sweaters, and some lots of supplies for decorations. I tried to focus on sweaters with a little less pattern than I normally would. I wanted to make sure that everyone had a mostly blank canvas to create their masterpieces. I was a little worried about being able to find enough fun things to decorate the sweaters with, craft supplies are not usually something I look for at thrift stores, and although I found plenty of things for my wedding at thrift stores, I wasn’t sure about what I’d find for this sort of thing. My worries turned out to be completely unfounded though, I couldn’t believe my luck with the things I was able to score! I found everything from beaded strings to a whole bag of little Santa plushies, everything was so fun, and so spot on for what you need for the perfect ugly sweater for the Holidays!

I am so happy to be able to share a little peak in to my life with you guys. My friends are some of the most important people in my life, and I love having the opportunity to share this side of myself with you guys!

If you have any questions about anything you see in this post, leave me a comment and I’ll do my best to answer them!
