I am still in some serious denial about summer being on it’s way out. Most years I am right there with the majority of the Seattle population, longing for Fall. I normally am all for rainy days, sweaters, and cozy drinks. This year though, I am having the hardest time with the changing on the seasons, I think its because we just didn’t have much of a summer. Sure, there were a few week long stretches of beautiful weather, but not enough to tie me over through the Fall and Winter that is coming up. Not to mention that due to wedding planning (three days, ahh!) this whole summer has just flown by for me!

In an attempt to hold on to last bit of sun, and warmth I will have for the next ten months, I put together this outfit! I love how light and airy this dress is, and I am completely obsessed with the fringe. I paired it with the one thing I have been missing about Fall, which are my favorite pair of Frye booties, I live in these in the colder months. I added the sunglasses that I just picked up from Moorea Seal, even though it was a little futile, it actually started raining while we were shooting this look! Ok, Washington, I get it! I am in love with these sunglasses though, they have a little flower pattern around the edges, and the lenses make it look like a sunset all day long!

I plan to bring this outfit on my California roadtrip “mini honeymoon” (mini, because the real one is coming in March!) I will have a week of, hopefully, beautiful weather. I’m hoping that after having some sun and ocean, that I will be ready to let go of the summer by the time I get back!

In this look: My dress is the Julieta Dress by Love Stitch, but bought from a local boutique called Moorea Seal, sunglasses are also from Moorea Seal, booties are Frye,  necklace is from Urban Outfitters, and my hat is from Forever 21.
