Ok, so I have to start this post off with an amazing story of heroism.

My mom has a sailboat, and went on a trip out around Puget Sound this past week. I got a call from her on Friday saying that they were sailing around the Clinton ferry terminal, when they thought they saw an otter in the water. She went to take a picture, and noticed it had ears. It was a little cat, swimming about five hundred feet offshore! So she scooped the cat out of the water with a fishing net, and saved her! We’ve posted all over Craigslist, Facebook, and the town’s lost and found site, and haven’t gotten any inquires about her. So its looking like my mom has a new kitty!

My sister and I went down to the marina in Eastlake to bring a cat carrier to bring the miracle kitty home, and decided to hang around for a while. It was so hot this past weekend, up in the 90’s the whole time! That isn’t very common for Seattle, so  its kind of hard to dress for. I usually tend to just cycle through the same tank tops, shorts an dresses. However, lately I am completely obsessed with rompers, and have had this one from H&M in my closet since last year. It was only $12, and it is so light and comfortable in the heat! I paired it with my black Birkenstocks, which I have been living in since I got them for my birthday in July, and a blingy gold world map necklace from Modcloth! I stayed nice and cool, and was super comfortable for a night out around the neighborhood.

In this look: Jumpsuit is from H&M, sandals are Birkenstocks in “Black Suede”, and my necklace is the “There’s a Map for that” necklace from Modcloth
