This weekend was so much fun! My mom, sister and I took a weekend trip down to Portland, Oregon as a “last hurrah” before my wedding. We hit up some of my favorite spots for lunch, and of course some of my favorite breweries while we were down there. I was so excited to finally get to eat at the Horse Brass Pub, the last couple times I have been down there we have had to leave before they open. We also stopped in at Base Camp Brewing (where you can get a s’mores stout with a toasted marshmallow right on your glass!) and my favorite, Cascade Brewing. If you are in the area, and are a fan of sour beer, I would highly highly recommend stopping in at Cascade, they make some really unique, delicious beer.

In addition to breweries, we also went to the Portland Zoo! It was so much fun, there is something funny about going to the zoo with your mom. No matter how old I get, I always feel like a kid at the zoo, especially with my mom!

The weather was in the 90’s all weekend, which I love (I think I’m the only one!). To combat the heat, I wore this linen blend, striped dress from Old Navy. I love this dress because it reminds me of something I would lust after at Madewell, but it lacks that Madewell price tag! I picked it up a few months ago for $25, and have loved it when it actually gets hot out. I paired it with a bandanna, a straw hat from Forever 21, and of course my Saltwater Sandals, I live in those guys in the summer.

In this look; My dress is from Old Navy, the scarf was gifted to me by Kiersten, my sandals are Saltwater Sandals that I got from Modcloth, my hat is from Forever 21, sunglasses are Urban Outfitters, and my bag is the Transport Tote from Madewell.
